The mobile phone power adapter, also known as the AC power adapter, converts the input AC power into the output DC power. A typical mobile phone power adapter is an in-line power adapter, and the plug (pin) of the adapter and the shell form a whole. In-line power adapter pins are generally made of iron or copper, but in terms of conductor conductivity (resistivity), iron pins are much worse than copper pins, so copper is a better power adapter. Copper pins have excellent electrical conductivity, but the copper material oxidizes in the atmosphere for a long time to reduce the resistivity and significantly reduce the charging performance. Therefore, nickel plating on the surface of the pins is required for anti-oxidation treatment.

 

The shell material of the power adapter is plastic, and environmental protection composite materials with excellent heat resistance, durability, mechanical properties and dimensional stability should be used. According to the requirements of GB/T 22727.1, environmentally friendly composite materials must meet the functions of safety, environmental protection and resource recycling. The content of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the material should be less than 200mg/kg, and the content of benzopyrene should be less than 20mg/kg. The materials that meet the above requirements are mainly polycarbonate (PC), acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene terpolymer (ABS), polypropylene (PP), PC/ABS alloy, thermoplastic polyester (PET/PBT) , modified polystyrene (PS), polyamide has been included. (PA), Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). The current power adapter shell material is generally environmentally friendly flame retardant PC composite material, the flame retardant grade is UL 94-V0, and the flame retardant grade is higher than the UL 94-V1 required by the national standard.

 

After Z, there is a more abstract PCB board, commonly known as a circuit board. The PCB board determines the electrical performance of the entire circuit. The rated input voltage of the mobile phone power adapter is AC: 100V to 240V with a margin of error of ±10%. The frequency is 50/60Hz or 50Hz-60Hz. Under normal load conditions, the steady state input current should not exceed 1.1 times the rated current.
